Welcome to the listserv for the Iowa Computer Science Consortium! The Iowa Undergraduate Computer Science Consortium is an informal group with a common interest in considering issues of undergraduate computer science within Iowa. The goals of the group are to promote communication among CS faculty and facilitate discussion of common problems and issues. The on-going collaborations of this group are motivated by the fact that computer science faculty at undergraduate institutions in Iowa often feel isolated, and there may be a need for such people to get together to talkabout topics of mutual concern. On line, the group has a home page at http://www.cs.grinnell.edu/~walker/ia-cs/index.html . This page includes some of the history of this group, together with some meeting agenda and group activities. Feedback on this material is welcome. As this iacs listserve exists to facilitate communication, discussion on topics related to undergraduate computer science -- particularly related to Iowa -- are encouraged. Also, please tell other potential members about this list! And pleasefeel free to forward this greeting to candidate members.
