CSC 301: Final Exam Information - Fall 2007

Office Hours during finals week:

• Monday, December 17, 9:30pm - 2:45pm
• Tuesday, December 17, 1:30pm - 5:00pm
• or by appointment

Aids:

• One double-sided (or two single-sided), hand-written, 8 1/2" x 11" pages of notes. (You must write the notes yourself. No typing, no photocopies.)
• Closed book. No calculator.

Material covered:

• The exam is cumulative; however, an emphasis will be placed on material covered after the second midterm test.

The "20% Rule":

• If you cannot answer a question (or part of a question), you will receive 20% of the points for that question (or part of a question) if you state clearly that you do not know how to answer. Note that you will not get those points if your answer contains contradictory statements (such as "I do not know how to answer") followed or preceded by parts of a solution that have not been crossed off.
