CSC 301: Midterm Test I - Fall 2007
Wednesday, October 10
2:15 pm - 3:05 am
Science 3819 (** Note this is NOT our usual classroom. **)
Aids:
- A hand-written, single-sided, 8 1/2" x 11" page of notes.
(You must write the notes yourself. No typing, no photocopies.)
- You may also bring the "math facts" handout I provided earlier in the
term, as long as you have not written additional notes on the handout. (I
will provide clean copies for those who have already written on theirs.)
- Closed book. Closed computer.
Material covered:
- Through Friday, October 5 (Graph representations).
The "20% Rule":
-
If you cannot answer a question (or part of a question),
you will receive 20% of the points for that question (or part of a
question)
if you state clearly that you do not know how to answer. Note that you
will not get those points if your answer contains contradictory
statements (such as "I do not know how to answer") followed or preceded
by parts of a solution that have not been crossed off.
