CSC 301: Final Exam Information - Fall 2008

Office Hours during finals week:
I expect to be in approximately all week, except during my other exam (Tuesday 9am - noon).

Aids:

• Two single-sided, hand-written, 8 1/2" x 11" pages of notes. (You must write the notes yourself. No typing, no photocopies.)
• Closed book. No calculator.

Material covered:

• The exam is cumulative; however, an emphasis will be placed on material covered after the second midterm test.

The "20% Rule":

• If you cannot answer a question (or part of a question), you will receive 20% of the points for that question (or part of a question) if you state clearly that you do not know how to answer. Note that you will not get those points if your answer contains contradictory statements (such as "I do not know how to answer") followed or preceded by parts of a solution that have not been crossed off.
