In today's Convocation, Thomas O. Melia will spack on "Democracy Promotion in a Time of Transition."
At 5 p.m. Friday in the Faulconer Gallery, artist Tracy Hicks talks about his installation still/LIFE . At 1 p.m. on Sunday Nov. 2 at the Mayflower Homes Activity Center, he will demonstrate his method for taking casts of endangered frogs without harming them. In next Thursday's Convocation, Rebecca Goldstein will speak on "Modern Philosophy and the Rise of Secularism."
At 5:30 on Sunday Nov 8, go to the ISO Food Bazaar at the Harris Center and learn about food from different places around the world. (I believe tickets are required.)
