Stewardship: Summary Paper

Summary: As stewards for a topic, you are responsible for not only hosting the speaker and leading discussion, but also writing a short summary of your topic.

Due: The Friday after your stewardship week.

Purposes:

• To give you the opportunity to tie together the various material (lectures, discussions, readings) we've used.
• To give your classmates information for the exams.
• To give me something else to grade.

Assignment: Write a short (two or three page) summary of your stewardship topic . Your summaries should be more than summaries of facts. In particular, I would like to see interesting and creative theses at the core of each summary. Note that your thesis must have sufficient strength to support the many ideas and facts from your topic.

If you have difficulty coming up with a thesis, please talk to me at your earliest opportunity.
