At times, students do not attend tutorial. Such absences upset me greatly and harm the class as a whole. However, students may, on occasion, have good reason to miss tutorial. So that students still gain the educational benefit of that class, I provide make-up work.
1. Discuss the class with a classmate to learn what you missed.
2. Do the exercises associated with Chapter 3 of Style.
3. Write one or two paragraphs reflecting on why it may or may not be appropriate that Williams failed to provide reference information for the quotation on p. 59 of Style.
4. Write one or two paragraphs that describe how you intend to find (or how you found) the journal articles for your bibliography.
