Owning the Intangible: Possession, Theft, and (Mis)Appropriation of Ideas

Followup to Class 2

Presented in no particular order.

For those of you who missed the last part of class, be prepared to ask more probing questions about your colleagues' three-semester plans.

We will finish Tutorial by 9:45 Tuesday morning so that you have time to get back to the session on financial aid.

A key goal of the get advice assignment was that you find out courses you should take after this semester. It sounds like many of you focused on what you needed for this semester.

Another key goal of that assignment was that you practice asking good questions of people. I hope to see more of that.

My notes to myself on what I plan to do for each class are online at http://www.cs.grinnell.edu/~rebelsky/Courses/Tutorial/Outlines/.

Disclaimer: I usually create these pages on the fly, which means that I rarely proofread them and they may contain bad grammar and incorrect details. It also means that I tend to update them regularly (see the history for more details). Feel free to contact me with any suggestions for changes.
