Running DrFu on Your Microsoft Windows Workstation

These instructions will only work for Grinnell students, faculty, and staff.

As you know, we do not yet have the augmented versions of GIMP and DrScheme compiled for the Microsoft Windows platform. However, it is still possible for you to work on DrFu on your Windows workstation. How? You can run DrFu on a Linux workstation and have the GIMP and DrScheme windows appear on your Microsoft Windows workstation. (Our Linux workstations can display the windows on any computer that runs something called the X Window System.) Doing so requires a relatively fast internet connection (such as those available on campus). It also requires a little bit of bravery.
