This document provides an approximate list of the unscheduled things I should be doing, along with a note as to when they appeared on the list. This list focuses on work-related tasks, with a few home tasks thrown in. If you know of something that you think I should be working on and that you don't see listed here, please let me know.
As is typically the case, as soon as the semester started, my to-do list fell by the wayside. In this case, I think it happened in late August 2002. Hence, most of these tasks are very old. I'm starting again in mid-February 2003. Okay, maybe I should start again. It's now May 2006.
These are generally long projects (but fun) that I'll do when I have sufficient time. Some involve computing, some don't. The names make sense to me, but may not make sense to you.
These tasks typically take under two or three hours. Some should take under 30 minutes.
These tasks typically take about a day (perhaps half a day, perhaps two days).
These tasks will typically take the equivalent of a week to a month of full-time work. I almost never succeed in getting all of them done.
Good papers take a lot of time. The amount of time varies depending on the topic and the length. Here are some I should be writing.
Who knows how long this stuff will take?
