SIGCSE

Schedule of Conferences and Symposia

SIGCSE, the ACM Special Interest Group on Computer Science Education, now sponsors these annual events:

The Symposium, has been held annually in February or March in the United States since 1970.
The annual summer conference on Innovation and Technology in Computer Science Education (ITiCSE) has been held in Europe since 1975, and
The International Computing-Education Research Workshop (ICER) has been held each fall since 2005, alternating between the United States and outside North America.
The SIGCSE Doctoral Consortium met the day before the annual SIGCSE symposia through March 2008. Thereafter, it will meet in conjunction with the annual ICER conference.
The SIGCSE Roundtable for Department Chairs meets the day before the annual SIGCSE Symposia.

This listing identifies [anticipated] locations, dates, and leadership. Since all ACM-related conferences must follow a formal approval process to be officially listed on an ACM Web site, some of the future conferences listed here must be regarded as unofficial. Typically all SIGCSE conferences submit this required paperwork between 6 months and 1 year before the actual event.
