SIGCSE Committees

SIGCSE-Member Involvement Supporting the Educational Community

The Committee Initiative encourages all SIGCSE members to participate in substantive discussions on areas of community interest, with the goals of investigating topics in depth and culminating with substantive reports. Based on community interest, the SIGCSE Board launch specific Committees, each with a specific charge, and each led by two to four appointed facilitators.

Established SIGCSE Committees

At present, the SIGCSE Board has established three SIGCSE Committees, each with a clear and manageable focus. Each Committee has two to four appointed facilitators, and all interested SIGCSE members are encouraged to join the active discussion and contribute to a final report.

New SIGCSE Committees are announced through the SIGCSE.ANNOUNCE listserv.
