Like the midterm exam, the final exam will be a closed-book, closed-notes exam consisting of two sections. The first section will have exactly the same structure as that of the midterm exam; it will ask short-answer questions about the readings from the latter half of the course (everything we covered after the midterm exam date). The second section will require you to answer two essay questions out of three you will have seen in advance of the exam. The essay questions may address material from the whole semester's readings.
