Connections: English 121: Assignments: Paper

During the second half of the semester, you will write a paper. This paper should be about 1500 to 1800 words long, roughly five or six pages, and it should use MLA style for its documentation. (Here is a good handout on citing Shakespeare in MLA style.) The paper should develop a thesis about one or more of Shakespeare's works that we have covered in class.

For guidance about what I look for in papers, see the following links. They contain a lot of information; I assume that each of you will find some parts more relevant and useful than others.
