You mean that you're changing the rules again in the middle of an election, so that people who asked for tactical advice following your earlier rules change will be harmed by taking it. You're compounding the earlier offense, not rectifying it! You can't restore the fairness of an election by pawing through the ballot box, trying to unstuff the ballots you stuffed into it before.
