Contribute to hurricane relief

Skippy the bush kangaroo has challenged every author of a political Web log to contribute $100.01 to hurricane relief -- $100 to make a difference, and one cent to show that the contribution comes from Blogtopia.

“Hacking gadflies” isn't a political blog. However, I do occasionally comment on such imbecilic Republican policies as underfunding the Federal Emergency Management Agency in order to get it out of the disaster-relief business, so that victims of natural disasters will properly appreciate the moral hazard, and persisting in occupying Iraq (thus ensuring that the Louisiana National Guard would be understaffed and underequipped for Katrina). So it seems appropriate to support skippy's project.
