Summary: A scientist at the MIT Media Lab gave free, slightly customized cell phones to a hundred MIT students and employees and used them to collect nine months' worth of information about their movements and communications. From this information, the scientist has constructed a detailed and fairly successful predictive model of the participants' behavior and interactions.
