Summary: Some bands don't like the digital-restrictions management features that their labels are applying to their work. It seems that those features are preventing CD purchasers from copying the music. So the bands are explaining to their fans how to break the DRM. This upsets other artists, who see it as a mockery of the copy-protection scheme.
