Keil, Paul. “For TX GOP, is disaster spelled S-H-E-L-L-E-Y S-E-K-U-L-A--G-I-B-B-S?” TPMmuckraker, August 22, 2006.

Summary: In the election for the seat in the House of Representatives that Tom DeLay was obliged to vacate earlier this year, the Republicans have failed to get his name off the ballot and are now desperately trying to work up a write-in campaign for their new candidate, Shelley Sekula-Gibbs. Unfortunately for them, the goofball electronic voting machines that will be used in the election have a user interface that makes writing in a candidate -- especially one with such a long name -- an extremely tiresome and error-prone process (and perhaps an impossible task; the interface provides no way at all to enter the hyphen in the candidate's surname).
