Mickum, Brent. “Guantánamo's lost souls.” Comment is free, January 8, 2007.

Summary: Two UK residents were arrested in 2001 on false evidence and were subsequently imprisoned at various hellholes around the world, ending up at our concentration camp at Guantánamo, Cuba. We have been torturing them in various ways and have succeeded in reducing one of them to a state of extreme mental disorder. As both the FBI and the International Red Cross have documented, these usages are typical and have resulted in almost a hundred deaths, including thirty-three that even the American military classifies as homicides. Almost none of the prisoners at Guantánamo have ever been charged with crimes.
