It's the one commandment they cannot keep. Tough, stylish and extreme, fans of Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction will thrill to the action, intensity and intelligence of this modern day morality tale written in blood. Starring Willem Dafoe The English Patient, Sean Patrick Flanery Powder and Norman Reedus 8MM.

When the sadistic Russian mob starts muscling in on their South Boston Irish neighborhood, Connor and Murphy McManus know what must be done. Feeling that the vengeance of God is flowing through their veins, they set out to rid the streets of gangsters, criminals and lowlifes. As the body count rises, the brothers become local heroes. Now, one unorthodox FBI agent must be cunning enough to bring them down.

Trivia: Director Cameo: [Troy Duffy]The bar patron in the overalls in the scene where the McManus brothers get into the bar fight with the Russians. In fact, his whole band (The Boondock Saints, formerly The Brood) have cameos in that scene, including Troy's brother, Taylor Duffy. (more)

Goofs: Continuity: During Smecker's investigation of the Russian mobster's deaths, he places a bottle of some liquid he uses on the Russian's hand on the ground about a foot and a half in front of the Russian's body. When the close-up of the Russian's hand is shown, however, the bottle is much closer, then it returns to its previous position on the ground when the shot switches again. Then as Smecker stands to investigate the bullet hole farther down the alley, he leaves the bottle on the ground. The bottle disappears in the next shot as the camera zooms out away from the body. Quotes:
[first lines]
Mackiepenny: Our father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, now and forever. Amen.
