This was deigned for people that had never programed before to learn to program in Applesoft BASIC. AppleSoft BASIC was an extension for the BASIC, but AppleSoft gave the user full command of what the Apple II offered. For example high-resolution graphics which were 280 dots width and 192 dots height.
