DrFu

DrFu

DrFu is the name we've given to the hybrid Scheme graphics environment that we've created for our introductory computer science courses. Right now, DrFu consists of:

The main version of DrFu runs on our Linux boxes. A few students are working on instructions for updating GIMP and DrScheme for DrFu, so that those with their own Linux boxes can install it.

An Intel-Mac version of DrFu (which we did not name DrFu-Mac-Chew) is also available.

Grinnell students on the campus network with fast connections can run DrFu on a MathLAN workstation and have the UI appear on their personal computers. You can do so with Microsoft Windows, Linux, or even your Macintosh.
